The Chili Pepper & Brew Fest  officially kicks off the Aspen/ Snowmass summer each year with a hot & spicy weekend dedicated to world-class chili, microbreweries, and music. Thanks for the memories in 2007, see you in 2008!

The International Chili Society, the leading authority on chili, holds sanctioned competitions in Chili Red, Chili Verde, and Chili Salsa. Over 30 International Chili Society experts per day square off wielding peppers, tomatoes, and  secret sauces. The winners qualify to participate in the World's Championships. On Sunday, locals strut their spicy side in a local cook-off.  NEW in 2007. On Saturday, the International Chili Society kicked it up a notch with the 9th Annual Hot Times Regional Championship and chili tasting formerly hosted in Cripple Creek, Colorado. $400,000 in new venue improvements also debuted this year. 

Over 40 "best of class" invitation-only microbrews compete for a seasonal ale competition on Friday and a grand tasting on Saturday. On Sunday, home brewers square off. All food events offer tastings to the general public.
